Grigori Trooper v. 1.0

As a quick look at my gallery will hopefully establish, I tend to think up a universe or a part of a universe, and find a medium to match my ideas for that universe. Not, as is also done, the other way around; get used to a medium and find a universe to make stuff for with said medium.

To date, "The Grigori Mandate" has been fleshed out through fiction obviously, photo manipulations, 3D work to an extend, props, Warhammer 40.000 miniatures and now a full costume.

Though I crafted little for this outfit from scratch, everything, save the tactical vest, I modified to some extend. I'll upload some detail shots soon; this photo mostly serves as a reference point for those details.

I am quite pleased with the end result. As is, I think, abundantly clear, I took a token from Killzone and Jin-Roh for the design of this soldier. The costume is suitably menacing and apparently allows me to stay unrecognised, even to good friends
