Pirate Snap-Shot

Here's a little pirate themed snap-shot for all of your perusal I fully admit that this was purely inspired by the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.

The movie has a very unique flavour amongst all the other movies being released nowadays and like it or hate it, I figure it would be hard to deny that. Next to 'PotC' there are virtually no 'pirate' movies of note, at least, not in my eyes.

All of the costumes being worn in the movies are very, well, worn. According to the bonus material of the first movie, the costume lead designer even went as far as to toss a lot of the clothes into a concrete mixer together with bricks...

That worn look is something quite recognizable for movie costumes, as far as I'm concerned. "Lord of the Rings", to name an other few influential movies, has the same thing for their costumes.

This is my first attempt at such an 'movie look'. Most, if not all, of my LARP gear has been used a lot, but also repaired and washed a lot. It looks cool enough, and I'm quite proud of it all, but somehow, it never sparks that 'movie magic' for me Let's see what this does once it's done
